Poland - Smoleń Castle
Smoleń Castle, was erected by Otto of Pilica in the second half of the 14th century.Than it often changed hands and belonged to Seweryn Boner, Filip Padniewski and his nephew,Wojciech Padniewski. In 1655 the castle was burned down by the Swedish invaders.During the World War I it was the scene of fierce fighting between the Austrian and the Russian troops(1914).Its present owner is Pilica commune.

Poland - Tenczyn Castle
Tenczyn Castle, was erected by Nawój from Morawica, castellan from Cracow.Its history goes back to the year 1319.His successor was his son Andrzej, who took the name of Teczyński,. Next owners of the fortress were the noble families: the Lubomirskis,the Czartoryskis and the Potockis.Now the ruins are owned and managed by Krzeszowice commune.The Castle was a film set for the television series: "Black Clouds" directed by A. Konic and "Knights and Robbers" by T. Junak.

Poland - Mirów Castle
Mirów Castle, was built by the King Kazimierz Wielki. Later it was in the hands of noble families: the Kozieglowskis, the Myszkowskis, the Korycińskis, the Mecińskis. In 1587 the castle was seized by the troops of Archduke Maximilian von Habsburg, and is 1657 it was seriously damaged by the Swedish invaders.In 2006 the fortress was bought by two brothers, Dariusz and Jaroslaw Lasecki, who also own the nearby Bobolice Castle.

Poland - Lipowiec Castle
Lipowiec Castle was erected by the bishop Jan Muskata in the second half of the 13th century. Its present state is the result of reconstruction works carried out in 1960 and 1970.Since 2007, it has belonged to the museum complex, together with the Nadwiślański Ethnographic Park in Wygielzów.

Poland - Siewierz Castle
Siewierz Castle was built during the first half of the 14th century and was the property of the Silesian dukes.Later the land was purchased by Zbigniew Oleśnicki, the bishop of Cracow.For a few centuries , until 1790 the castle was the property of the church.
